“The Bathrobe is the thing in which you may catch the King”.  (apologies)....These might be the only extant photographs of Tom Wolfe in something other than a white three-piece suit. So the great secret is out, he actually works in this custom cashmere bathrobe, and not in the suit. As you can imagine, the conversation was erudite, at least on his part.
