“Inspired by the Emily Dickinson poem “There’s A Certain Slant of Light”, which interrogates the spiritual effects of light during the long dark days of winter, the exhibition literally shines a light on this adage at a time of year when it rings paramount; the clocks have turned back, the days grow shorter, and darkness fills more hours.”
The Mercantile Exchange Building, designed in the Queen Anne Style by Thomas R. Jackson and completed in 1886 serves as the theatre for this illuminated display.
